Recording for the second album had started shortly after the April tour, and by October, the band were keen to get back out on the road. 'Real Gone Kid' was released as a single, and eventually became the bands first top 10 hit.
For the first (and only) time the band decided that all shows on the tour would have the same setlist. In fact the setlist did change slightly during the tour, but not by much.
